I'm a lucky stay at home mum who gets to watch my three amazing children grow in the beautiful old style house and big garden we call 'home'...
Some call me old fashioned and thats fine by me... I love being at home, I enjoy being outside, I try hard to grow all my own vegies, I love cooking dinners from scratch, making bread and baking. A passion is sourcing old wares at auctions and yard sales.. I love making old style home wares for my website as well...sometimes I even do ironing....!!!
Welcome to my life, full of 'Enchanted Moments..'and the simple things I love...
I have read it already, and the recipes are some that I make...my husbands mother was Calabrian and I got him to read a little of it the other day and honestly I think I saw him wipe his eyes....that book is written straight from the heart and is what he grew up with...I LOVE IT...
Your comment about Mangia Mangia sounds like a lovely recommendation. Happy reading, Jenny :) P.S: on my blog post, your guess was right, but your answer was the first comment, so I haven't posted anyones' comments yet...lol...!
Try one of these it may remind you of your childhood at nana's house......
Cos you gotta have friends....
Cleo and Sophia
Ginger Fluff
Daisy, oops, Douglas..???
New chickadees...
Start a vegie garden with your children...
There is nothing that tastes so good as fresh picked vegies for tea..Children will be more tempted to try different foods, knowing that they helped to plant and grow them..
