We are half way through our sauce making for the year... Another 90 kilos of tomatoes are arriving on Wednesday  which will supply us with sauce for the next 12 months.. Anything that has zucchini in it is what's cooking in the kitchen today!  Bountiful pickings each day of yellow and green varieties of zucchini have me wondering what on earth to do with them all ...... Some vintage finds lately have been this fabulous old medicine cabinet with mirror. Two trailer loads of gravel later.... And some new sand for the sand pit.... and the new play area for the children is finished!!!! I am imagining this area in a few weeks time when the vines are green and the love heart plum tree blossoms and is all green again, it will look so nice. An update on the marmalade is that it is in my tummy....It is not the most thick sort of marmalade that I have encountered, but it is fabulous tasting and that's all that matters! I would really recommend trying mandarins for marmalade, or jam? The pip picking drove me a little insane but was worth it in the end...I ended up using three kilos of mandarins that I had softened and then buzzed

about a trip to the butchers, well the second best thing as the first would be a slice of fritz.... IS................ Butcher's paper....
