Duran Duran Adelaide 2012

They came, and we watched...and were transported back to our teenage years with the loud music and lights and the atmosphere and lyrics that we knew off by heart ...(and still do..)

And I only yawned once or twice....lol...

Amazing to think these guys have still got it....

I have not much really at all of what I had thirty years ago...straight teeth...thats about all I can think of now...most things have changed considerably....and yeah, these guys are older too ...but as with all teenage idol bands,  no matter how old they get, that music is what makes all else fade away......and they remain forever young in your eyes.....

It will probably be the last time I see this band playing...now...if only the Human League decide to visit here one more time...I will be even happier.............

A little older, as we all are....

But the reviews from the concerts around Australia have been great....

So tonight, it's my turn.....Duran Duran are here in Adelaide and I have had my ticket since the minutes they were released last year.........

Nothing like a band that you loved as a teenager to still sound great so you can be transported back thirty twenty years....is it really thirty years since I walked to high school...????

So, out with the CD now, so I can be totally ready for it tonight.....

Enchanted Things...

Managing amongst all the normal family routines and household jobs to get a few finishes up and ready to put on the website...

I will be loading all new items this week....I have quite a few pieces finished and ready for sale and will still be sewing this week as well...

In all the fog of the mundane and the pain of grief that still bites me when least expected ....I find that creating   

eases it, if only for small moments.....and that I can be grateful for..............
